Génesis Rodriguez's Latin Grammy Awards Makeup Was All About the Smoky Eye
Actress and L'Oréal Paris brand ambassador Génesis Rodriguez brought her beauty A game to the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas on Nov. 19. Her makeup artist, Claudia Betancur, went for a sultry smoky eye to complement Génesis's stunning gold dress, and we think you should totally copy this sexy look this weekend.
After prepping Génesis's skin with a makeup primer, Claudia started on the eye makeup. She started by applying a beige eye shadow across the lid, then she added some depth on the outer corner of Génesis's eye using the dark-brown shade in the Colour Riche La Palette Nude 2 ($20), blending inward and stopping halfway. She amped up the intensity of the look even more by drawing a subtle cat eye using a felt-tip eyeliner ($10) and applying a couple coats of mascara.
On the skin, Claudia achieved a matte finish using Infallible Pro Matte Foundation ($13), then she added a subtle glow with highlighter on the apples of Génesis's cheeks. She finished the whole look off with a glossy neutral lip using Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Pen in Choco-Lacque ($10).
