The American Music Awards Was the Night of the Topknot — Here's How to Get the Look

The topknot, the lazy girl's go-to style, made many chic appearances at the 2015 American Music Awards on Nov. 22. Fashion It girl and reality star Kendall Jenner rocked one on the red carpet, as did BFFs Christina Milian and Karrueche Tran, but the most notable topknot of the night was that on none other than Latina superstar (and AMAs host) Jennifer Lopez.

Though she made many hair, makeup, and wardrobe changes throughout the night, J Lo's classic updo truly stood out — especially when paired with that sparkly red ombré dress. Lorenzo first gathered J Lo's hair into a high ponytail, then he twisted the hair around its base, securing the bun with bobby pins.
