Mario Lopez Didn't Just Play A.C. Slater in Saved by the Bell, He Was A.C. Slater IRL

Mario Lopez spent most of his high school years playing A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell. His character was a jock, who was both on the wrestling and football teams and often wore a letterman jacket, and it turns out so did Mario. The host of Extra might not have been acting as much as we thought. In a #TBT picture shared on his Instagram, a young Mario is holding his own sports jacket in what seems to be a photo in his yearbook, but it could have easily been an image straight out of an episode of Saved by the Bell. Mario has stayed close to his costars and even reprised his character on The Tonight Show a few months ago. His son also recently wore a t-shirt in tribute to his dad's character.
