Selena Gomez's red lip and floral updo were the perfect match for her slinky Vera Wang white dress. Her hair allowed the low-cut back of her dress to be on full display, and her red lipstick gave us major vibes of Old Hollywood glam.
To create her updo, hairstylist Renato Campora started by creating hold and volume on Selena's wet strands with Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse ($30). After blow-drying her hair, he used a flatiron to create smooth texture. He pulled the top section of Selena's hair into a tight ponytail at the crown of her head, and then created a second ponytail right behind the star's right ear with the rest of her strands. To form the updo, he pinned the top pony to the bottom one, hiding the ends with bobby pins. Renato finished by securing the orchid accessories to the top of the updo, setting everything with a generous spritz of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray ($26).
The secret to Selena's gorgeous scarlet lips was moisturizer. Makeup artist Jake Bailey used Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream ($21) to soften her pout and get rid of any flakes that could have shown up under the vibrant color. For long-lasting power, he lined Selena's mouth with Beautiful Color Precision Glide Lip Liner in Red Door Red ($21) before applying Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in Matte Bold Red ($25).
