If You Need Us, You Can Find Us Sipping (or Chugging) Trader Joe's New Agua Frescas

Trader Joe's has blessed us with a variety of affordable Latin-inspired treats through the years, from chile spiced mango to roasted plantain chips and every other crave-inducing goody in between. Now that we've officially made one (or, like, four) too many spicy margaritas with a little help from TJ's zesty jalapeño limeade, we're in need of another beverage to transform our Summer drink lineup while the warm weather is still around. Enter our new favorite drink (and mixer!): organic agua frescas from the popular grocery chain.

Translated to "fresh waters" in English, agua frescas are a must-have staple in Mexican culture, typically containing water, sugar, and a delightful flavor mixture from the various fruits, herbs, or flowers they may be brewed with. They're kind of like juice, but not quite as sugary. Trader Joe's riff on the classic drink comes in three thirst-quenching flavors — Pineapple Mango, Hibiscus, and Strawberry Lime — each of which contains no artificial flavors. Score!

Whether you drink them solo as a poolside refresher or in a punch bowl spiked with vodka or tequila, these agua frescas are on our must-have list. The best part? Each 32-ounce bottle only costs $2.29. Yep, we're stocking up on all three during our next Trader Joe's visit. Bottoms up!
