Ilegales' Medley of Their All-Time Hits Is the Motivation I Needed This Week

Behold the most underrated social-distancing music video there is on the internet right now. Ilegales jumped on the "making music away, but together" bandwagon and released a seven-minute medley with their greatest hits past and present.

The music video starts with frontman Vladimir Dotel saying he's coming to us from home, where he's complying with authorities. "Mi gente, we have to take care of each other, we have to stay home," he added, acknowledging that he understands sometimes we can get anxious or desperate from being inside, but in the long run, that's what's best for us.

Dotel later added that this inspired him to do something different with Ilegales, so he called up his boys David Díaz and Junior Pimentel to put together this medley that includes "El Taqui Taqui," "Fiesta Caliente," "La Morena," and "Chucuchá." An exceptional band that includes guitar, bass, conga, keyboards, saxophone, and trumpet joins them to make this medley just what we needed to get up off the couch and dance our worries away with songs that have been iconic staples in Latin parties since the '90s.
