Jennifer Lopez Crashed Maluma's Sold-Out Show, and Whew, Their Fiery Duet Is Too Good
Jennifer Lopez lit up the Madison Square Garden stage with Maluma on Friday night in New York City. The 50-year-old entertainer joined her Marry Me costar at his sold-out show to belt out her hit "No Me Ames," which she originally recorded with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez looked glamorous in a glittering gold Versace ensemble, with a matching headpiece and matching jewelry.
This stunning duet likely doubles as a pivotal scene in their rom-com together. According to Entertainment Tonight, Lopez will play a celebrated entertainer in Marry Me opposite Maluma's rock star character. Before they're married at Madison Square Garden, Lopez's character finds out Maluma has been cheating on her with her assistant, and she chooses to marry a random crowd member — played by Owen Wilson — instead.
"The art of collaboration...it's what I love about this business!!!" Lopez captioned a photo of herself and Maluma on Thursday. "True magic happens when inspiration meets the absence of ego. It's so much fun when different artists come together and everyone contributes to create something special and true and real for everyone to experience and enjoy!! Issa flow... Here we go!"
Ahead, see clips and photos of their exciting NYC performance. We can't wait to see Marry Me in theaters!
