"It's definitely bittersweet. You know it's bitter because you no longer have your own sense of privacy, but I think that I was raised to be an open book, so that part of it genuinely doesn't bother me. Whatever it is I go through in life, I want my fans to know that I'm just like them. I'm a human being and I go through things. You know I get stressed out, I have breakups, and I go through heartbreak. And what's great about it, too, is I remember growing up and looking up to people, like Jennifer Lopez, and thinking: "Wow! She's always sparkly and glittery and always looking top-notch amazing!" And as time has gone by, with social media, we get to learn the other side of artists and find out they're not superheroes."
