Gisele Bündchen is the highest-paid model of 2016, according to Forbes's list. So if you thought the model's retirement from the runway would mean the Brazilian beauty would fall off the map, you now know you were wrong.

With a combination of ad campaigns for giant brands like Pantene and Chanel and her own lingerie line, Gisele took home a whopping $30.5 million, landing about $20 million ahead of the model in spot No. 2. Gisele Bündchen: $30.5 Million

She might have retired from the runway — making an exception at the opening ceremony for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro — but Gisele still poses for ad campaigns for brands like Pantene, Carolina Herrera, and Chanel.

Adriana Lima: $10.5 Million

Taking the second spot on the list, Adriana has an ad campaign deal with Marc Jacobs as well as Victoria's Secret, Vogue Eyewear, Maybelline, and IWC watches.

Alessandra Ambrosio: $5 Million

At No. 13, Alessandra Ambrosio's Victoria's Secret Angel contract is her biggest modeling deal, but let's not forget the Brazilian also has her own swimsuit and jewelry lines.

Joan Smalls: $4.5 Million

With a beauty deal with Estée Lauder and having walked the runway for Versace, Givenchy, Balmain, and, of course, Victoria's Secret, the Puerto Rican beauty lands at No. 16 on the list.
