For the most part, Elena's makeup is neutral in tone. Start by applying a sheer eye shadow primer, like Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($12), to the lid.
To re-create the definition in her eye shadow, I used the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette ($49). Using a round dome brush, apply the shade Mousse (a matte light brown) to the entire lid, blending well on the crease. To add a touch of definition, go over the crease with the shade Truffled (a dark matte brown). Make sure you're using a light hand, and blend well with the base light brown shade.
