For me, Clinique is nostalgia at its core. I was probably in middle school when the existence of the brand first came to my knowledge. But it wasn't until high school that I actually got my hands on some of the products. It must have been a gift with purchase after my mom bought something at a department store, but I didn't care. I was excited to try the products, and from there, I was hooked.
Flash-forward 20 years and Clinique continues to be one of my favorite beauty brands, and I know I'm not alone. I'm a fan of the brand's always-effective and reliable formulas, and the products are often staples in my makeup and skin-care collections. I also appreciate that the products are not solely defined by trends and that instead, there are skin care and cosmetics that benefit all individuals time and time again. The Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover ($36) was my introduction to makeup-removing balms, and right away, I was hooked on how efficient it is for removing makeup and how nourishing it feels on my skin. As someone with dry skin, I appreciate the balm-to-oil formula and have made it part of my nighttime routine ever since.

I'm a sucker for blush, and the Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm Blush ($28) delivers a pretty pop of color and a natural-looking glow. Its practical stick form makes it easy to take anywhere, and application is no problem even when you're doing your makeup last minute in an Uber.

My skin-care routine has evolved over the years, making the Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Serum ($100) a potent player within my collection. This silky serum helps boost the skin's natural collagen while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's formulated with the powerful ingredient of pure retinoid, which helps speed new skin cells to the surface, leaving my skin feeling fresh, plump, and hydrated.

I'm not getting the recommended eight hours of sleep these days (blame it on the baby), but the Airbrush Concealer ($27) helps hide that fact with light-diffusing optics that brighten shadows and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As someone who enjoys getting a burst of moisture throughout the day, the Moisture Surge Face Spray ($29) gives my skin a refreshing (and awakening) experience every time. It's infused with aloe leaf extract, chamomile, sucrose, and caffeine, all of which help soothe and calm the skin.
Clinique Chubby Stick Eyeshadow Tint
You don't need to be a makeup artist to nail your eye makeup with the Chubby Stick Eyeshadow Tint ($21), and that's what I love about it. One or two coats is all you need to get a sheer wash of color on the lids. I usually opt for Lavish Lilac, a Bountiful Beige, or Lots o' Latte.

The memory of the full-size Clinique Happy falling from my locker will forever remain, and now I'm pleased with the petite Happy Perfume Rollerball ($25) version. The lively scent brings me back to some pretty nostalgic moments, and it never fails to perk up my mood.
