Julie-Alexandra and Michel met at McGill University as engineers but remained friends for a few years. Once the timing was right, they started dating and eventually decided to get married. The couple rented a Tesla for the day, adding a cool factor to their sophisticated wedding in Montreal. Michel had special cufflinks made for his tux, and Julie impressively designed her classy and modern wedding dress and then had it made.
Their ceremony was held at a Catholic church, and after, they celebrated their official title as man and wife with some Cuban cigars. All the decor at their reception at Lachine Canal was made by them. Julie and Michel selected chapters and citations from Khalil Gibran's book The Prophet and displayed them as table numbers. Their concept was based on water and minimalism. Watercolors were used on the invitations, and centerpieces featured beautiful pastel flowers of various sizes.
"What an incredible day. These two were so classy and their wedding was timeless," said their photographer, Lindsay Muciy.
