Feminist Yearbook Quote
This Girl Will Make You Reevaluate Whatever Dumb Yearbook Quote You Used
One high school graduate will make you seriously reevaluate whatever cliché yearbook quote you used back in the day. Caitlyn Cannon, 18, opted for something a bit more creative for her last hurrah, and it was amazing. Her yearbook quote reads, "I need feminism because I intend on marrying rich and I can't do that if my wife and I are making .75 cent [sic] for every dollar a man makes." Caitlyn, a self-proclaimed feminist who says she's "really gay," told Cosmopolitan that she was shocked the quote blew up the way that it did. "While it would have been fun to submit something funny or silly, I think it was even more rewarding to submit the truth, and call some attention to it," she said. We love it.
