This Nautical Northshore Wedding Will Sail Right Into Your Heart

When in doubt, a classic nautical theme never fails. Josh and Bryan — see their adorable engagement shoot here — had a simple wedding in Salem, MA, filled with personal touches. Photographer Makayla Jade captured every moment of the day, starting with professional shaves at a local barbershop and ending with lively dancing at the reception. "What was most unique for us was really in the atmosphere," said Josh. "We tried to keep the party going. Making sure every part of our moments included our guests. We really wanted to make sure they were never on the outside looking in."

The two read their personalized vows under a historical gazebo in the heart of Salem. Their ballroom reception was decorated with custom monogramed wine bottles that Bryan designed himself. "It was just like having a weekday dinner with friends," Josh said. "The pairings and groups that came together at our wedding were unforgettably magical.
