Quote About Women Weighing More Than Their Boyfriends
This Blogger Shuts Down the Notion That You're "Too Fat" to Be With Someone in an Epic Instagram
"If you weigh more than your boyfriend, you're too fat." This is something body-positive blogger and author Megan Jayne Crabbe says she was taught from a very young age. Crabbe, who previously struggled with an eating disorder and now is a self-proclaimed "anorexia conqueror," took to Instagram to set the record straight. She called out the stereotypes and gender norms that tell women they have to be "light and graceful" to be beautiful and that men must be "strong and solid." In her passionate post, she made some important points about body image. "It hurts us all, the idea that only certain bodies are deserving of love. But the truth? The truth is that every single one of us are worthy of love, whether our bodies are light, strong, soft, bigger or smaller than our partners. Whether we believe that we're worthy or not. We already are. That means you too."
