You'll Wish You Had an Invite to This Fun Vineyard Wedding

Kendall is close friends with Dustin's younger sister, who was one of her bridesmaids. Here she is helping the bride get dressed the morning of the wedding.

Kendall opted for a wedding gown with straps and a train.

The programs doubled as fans, a bonus for warm guests during the outdoor ceremony.

Kendall's dad walked the bride down the aisle.

The couple selected a local winery for the location of both the ceremony and the reception. "We chose it because of the beautiful surroundings and the open space," Kendall recalls. "It was great to have our ceremony only steps from our reception, and we also had a huge dance floor for our many guests!"

The newlyweds headed back down the aisle after saying their "I dos."

The cute couple sealed their commitment with a kiss.

The big day wasn't without its hiccups, however. Kendall explains:

"One thing that didn't go according to plan were our flowers. In our contract I had specifically stated I didn't like purple roses, and when I showed up a couple hours before the wedding, there was a box of bridesmaids bouquets that were only purple roses! I thought it was a joke, but it ended up being the only bouquets we had. The florist had also forgotten corsages for the grandmas and moms.

I was so bummed, but my bridesmaids were great in encouraging me that it doesn't change the fact that I am getting married, and since there is nothing we could do about it, we might as well embrace it, so we did, and tried to laugh about it later, and luckily we got a partial refund from our florist!"

The groomsmen included Dustin's family and high school friends.

Kendall and Brandon had a big bridal party that included close friends and family.

Kendall gives some advice for other brides-to-be out there planning a wedding. She says, "My advice would be always remember the purpose of your wedding — it is a lifetime commitment to another being. When things get stressful or go wrong, just remember that the point is that you are making a commitment, not having the perfect flowers or food or favors. Also, let others help you and be a part of the process — it helps family feel included and important, and it helps bear the load!"

Both the bride and groom have big families and lots of friends, and it was important to them to be inclusive when it came to invitations.

Kendall says, "We wanted to honor the people that had been important to our lives throughout various points, so we had a large guest list, and we like to reminisce and say we had 400 of our closest friends there to celebrate with us."

In keeping with the winery theme the place settings were displayed on wine bottle corks.

Appetizers were passed around during the reception.

The color scheme was inspired by the greens and purples of the location's vineyards.

Kendall and Dustin's big day was definitely a party to remember! To make sure everyone had a great time, they hired a local celebrity band to perform all the music during the reception.

Kendall says, "Our wedding was unique in that we had an awesome live band that played for our reception. We wanted to have a band playing music that everyone would want to get up and dance to, so it was fun to see our grandparents on the dance floor, right next to our college friends and neighbors."

Dustin ventured under Kendall's dress for the garter toss.

The ladies danced it up. The classics kept everyone — young and old — moving and grooving all night.

Dustin and Kendall left the wedding and ventured off to Antigua. Kendall dishes on their honeymoon details: "For our honeymoon, we went to a Sandals resort in Antigua. We decided to go there because it was different, and we wanted to be at an all-inclusive, where we didn’t have to think about pulling out our wallets. It was fun to be in another culture, and in such a beautiful, warm location!"
