This Parisian Bridal Shower Is Simply Magnifique

Spanning through multiple eras, Martin Scorcese's Hugo tells multiple love stories that occur throughout Paris. Highlighting the city's unique beauty and feel, it's no wonder that this film served as inspiration for this darling bridal shower shoot. "It's one of my favorite movies," says planner Jen Bergmark, "and I tried to incorporate several elements of the various love stories in the movie into the bridal shoot." From the vintage key motif to a build-your-own bouquet stand inspired by Parisian magasins de fleurs, the love stories come across in every detail of this fun bridal shower without feeling contrived. A tasteful theme, happy bridesmaids, and good wine are the recipe for a wonderful celebration, and this shower nailed it.

The Shower

This Parisian party began with a cocktail tasting, allowing the attendees to enjoy a bit of bubbly before beginning their planned activities. Next, each guest arranged her own key-accented bouquet, choosing fresh blooms from a variety of seasonal flowers. After posing with their creations, the guests relaxed with more wine to enjoy the film that inspired it all: Hugo. Can you imagine a better way to celebrate with girlfriends than wine, flowers, and a magical movie? We sure can't.
