This Bright and Sunny Wedding Proves How Sweet Love Can Be

Radley and Laura made a point to incorporate what they love most into their wedding: sun, books, travel, Chicago, and California. The bride, our very own associate news editor, made sure to incorporate personal details with the help of Enjoy Events Co. and Posh Paperie. "They put together the card-catalog seating assignments, the 'Meyers' lemonade stand, and all the sunny flowers mixed with gold and wooden details," Laura said. Postcards were a jumping-off point for the occasion's design, and along with DIY save the dates using vintage California postcards, they also used a mix of them for the guest book.

To give a nod to the bride's and groom's hometowns, they gathered bags of Chicago's Garrett popcorn, plus See's Candies lollipops from San Francisco. (Bonus points for the Portillo's Italian beef delivery midreception, which all the Midwest guests fully appreciated.) "I've held on to so many special moments from that day: Radley cracking me up during our vows, the two of us rapping on stage during the reception, the big sparkler surprise at the end of the night," Laura said. "For me, though, nothing felt as sacred as sharing a dance with Radley and my parents, whose anniversary we chose for our wedding date."

Make sure to take a peek at all the details included during Laura and Radley's sunny wedding filled with love.
