This Military Couple Did a Vow-Renewal Shoot — and It's Breathtaking

This gorgeous vow-renewal-styled shoot between a real-life, married military couple had a unique theme: a hint of history in a modernized world.

"The colors I chose are maroon, cream, gold, and a hint of green," said the photographer. "We wanted to capture the warmth on a chilly day with warm colors."

A cozy sofa was set up on the venue, located in North Carolina, to keep the session feeling intimate and inviting.

"We went with the colors of gray, cream, and a pop of red [for the sweetheart table]," the photographer said. "The beautiful china stood out to fit in perfectly with the historic era of the venue."

And the venue itself is quite a sight for sore eyes.

"The Rand-Bryan house has acres of beautiful areas to enjoy the setting sun," she said. "We set up a DIY swing onto one of their many trees. This gave the bride and groom the perfect chance to enjoy the property together and me a chance to catch the gorgeous sun disappear behind them."

The bride donned a Watters Mila dress, picked for its lace and plunging v-neck.

"The simplicity of the dress added luxury to the historic venue," she said. "This stylized shoot brought the best out of all of the vendors involved."

See the lovely photos ahead!
