The Mojave Desert Makes the MOST Romantic Setting For This Engagement Shoot

Chris knew that Brandi was "the one" from the moment he laid eyes on her, and there's no doubting their love upon admiring their gorgeous engagement photos. POPSUGAR's own reporter and producer Brandi is originally from Arizona, so she has an unending affinity for the desert. In fact, for her fiancé's last birthday, she surprised him with a trip to Sedona. Needless to say, Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California was the perfect location for their engagement photo shoot.

Wedding photographer Brandon Kidd took the earthy, neutral pictures in the midst of the Mojave Desert with beautiful boulders and Joshua Trees in the background. "The blanket we brought with us to the shoot was one we got in Tulum, Mexico, from a local artist the day after Chris asked me to marry him," Brandi said. "It also came in handy since it was really chilly that day."

Brandi's favorite moment was when Brandon suggested she take off her shoes and cuddle up with Chris for some of the photos. "Chris was kissing my cheek and shoulder and holding me close and I think those photos are some of my favorites because you can really see how much we love and adore each other," Brandi said.
