This Bride Was Given 6 Months to Live 3 Years Ago — See the Wedding She Fought to Have

Many women dream of their wedding day, but few have to worry about making it to then. Three years ago, Alicia was diagnosed with stage-four cancer around her bronchial tube and near her heart, giving her only six months to live. Obviously, she beat her odds.

Alicia planned to marry Jonathan last year, but they had to put their wedding on hold due to her health. A year later, she was finally able to go through with it.

"Jonathan never flinched or questioned his feelings for me even through the tough times," Alicia told their wedding photographer, who also knew her family as a child. "Very early in our relationship my health plummeted yet again. New tumors grew rapidly, and there were so many questions left unanswered. That day, he put on the face of a fearless warrior ready to battle anything that would come our way. I knew then not only was he fighting with me, but he was ready to fight for me."

In addition to being a relentlessly loving partner, Jonathan also took on the role as the father of Alicia's 5-year-old son, Noah. The three of them share an unbreakable bond that's so clearly evident in the photos ahead.
