This Epic Halloween Wedding Combined Game of Thrones and a Masquerade All in One

Amanda and Brian met through mutual friends and learned that they were next-door neighbors. Throughout their three years of dating, they shared a love for food, travel, and the Renaissance Festival. On Amanda's birthday in 2015, they took a surprise trip to Colorado, where Brian proposed on top of a hill with views of snow-capped mountains surrounding them.

When Amanda and Brian started wedding planning, they agreed right from the start that they wanted to have a Renaissance-themed wedding. Halloween, a holiday they both love, also happened to fall on a Saturday, so a masquerade reception was the perfect idea.

Conveniently, a tornado ripped through the property of the venue the night before their nuptials and even took down several oak trees. Although nobody was hurt, the damage served as props and only added to the Halloween wedding. They continued with their medieval theme with some Game of Thrones elements in their reception. The show's theme song played in the background as the wedding party entered, and the bride and groom sat at their royal table decorated with moss, coins, flowers, and golden place settings.
