The Pretty Elements That Make This Wedding Picture-Perfect Also Give Back to Charity

Just when we thought this wedding couldn't be any more perfect, we learned that it also had a humanitarian approach. Many of the details from Devin and Kay's outdoor nuptials were either handmade, thrifted, or purchased from local vendors who give back.

"Sometimes a wedding is just perfect, literally perfect. This was that wedding," said their photographer, Meigan Canfield. "I was not just impressed with the scenery and colors and 'ooh-ahh' beautiful details — it was the stories behind these details."

Devin created the watercolor, calligraphic table cards herself and even hand-painted the mini potted succulents for the guests. Her mother made the crochet buntings, her jewelry and shoes were handmade and ordered through small businesses, and her florist donated proceeds to the humane society. They also planned to give the handmade crochet blankets to the homeless in the Winter.

Not only was the couple's wedding bright and beautiful, but it was also a great time for the guests. From instant-film cameras to s'mores for roasting by the fire, their big day was as fun-packed as it was picture-perfect.
