Update: You can now create your own custom filter within Snapchat's app. Download the most recent update, go to the app's setting page, and look for "on-demand geofilter." Aside from minor differences in the user experience, the steps to create your geofilter on the app versus web remain pretty consistent. The main change, however, is that the minimum rate to create on mobile is $6 compared to the $5 price on web.

Create Your Design

Head to Snapchat's On-Demand Geofilters site and either upload your own design or choose from a variety of templates already made. There are different event options such as "Graduation," "Summer Vibes," "Birthdays," and "Wedding." From there, you can customize the design by color, text, and other elements like adding a Bitmoji.

Choose Your Dates

Select the duration of your event, whether it's a few days or one day, as well as the times you'd like your geofilter to be active.

Choose Your Location

Search for your venue location or address in the search bar and draw a fence around the area of your event. The minimum range is 20,000 square feet and you'll be notified if the area you've selected isn't large enough. In the top left corner, you'll see your size and price displayed.

Pay and Submit

And you're all finished! You'll find your geofilter appear for use on the day and time of your wedding or event.
