This Free People-Inspired Wedding Is So Damn Perfect, It'll Make You Say, "Seriously?"

Childhood sweethearts Kara and Kevin started dating in their freshman year of high school at Orange County School of the Arts. They've been a couple ever since performing in their ninth grade musical together. Now as adults, Kevin is on his way to becoming a doctor, while Kara works as a brand representative for Free People in Los Angeles. The two decided on a destination wedding and enlisted the help of design team Crosby + Jon, who introduced them to their venue, Higuera Ranch. The clean, white farmhouse in San Luis Obispo, CA, couldn't have been a more perfect venue for the couple's weekend wedding.

The team paid a visit to Kara's office at the Free People showroom to get a better feel for Kara's style. Inspired by the brand's mixture of textures and boho aesthetic, Crosby + Jon translated its effortlessly cool vibe to the event's florals, furnishings, and custom-made linens.

After a year of planning and designing, family and friends arrived to the location and were seated in antique church pews for a sunset ceremony on the hillside. The bride stunned in a jaw-dropping gown from Rue De Seine and made her way down an aisle of Turkish rugs and eucalyptus branches to meet her soon-to-be husband dressed in Indochino. After a tearful exchange of vows, the festivities kicked off with cocktail hour beneath the ranch's century-old fig tree. His and hers specialty drinks were served out of a charming white camper.

As guests found their rose gold seats at the long farm tables, they were each greeted by dip-dyed name cards, along with a little potted cactus that Kara and her mother made as wedding favors. Every table was dressed in custom patterned runners, which contrasted the more modern tabletop of ivory stoneware and rose gold flatware. The exquisite centerpieces, complete with Coral Charm peonies, Quicksand roses, and violet wildflowers, looked even more beautiful under the glow of the setting sun.

After dinner, Kara and Kevin moved the party inside the barn to share their first dance as wife and husband. Guests cozied up on bohemian lounge vignettes, toasted marshmallows over a fire, and danced the night away. It was a memorable affair from beginning to end.
