This Couple's Low-Key Engagement Shoot Proves That Less Is More

Rather than getting dolled up for a formal engagement session, these two decided to keep things casual to let their love shine. Geraldo, a former University of Tennessee football player and now a policeman, is soon marrying his sweetheart, Valerie, who's also finishing up her degree at UTK. He traveled across the country to California to meet her family and ask her father for his blessing. The couple are now set to marry on July 4 this year.

For their engagement photos, the two started out in a picturesque field and continued the photos at Cook Loft in downtown Knoxville, TN. They kept the shoot sweet and playful while cuddling up for some of the more intimate moments.
