When This Couple Discovered Their Parents Shared the Same Anniversary, They Followed Suit!

Krysta and Martin met while they were both attending school in Daytona Beach, FL. Fast forward to 2016 when Martin proposed to Krysta on Christmas day while they were celebrating the holiday with his family. "It wasn't until we were planning our wedding did we realize that both of our parents were married on 7-11. This year, my parents, Lisa and Kevin Gardner, celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary and Martin's parents, Loretta and Martin Jr. Embry, celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary. I was determined to keep the tradition and get married on 7-11, even though this year it was on a Thursday. Originally, we were just going to go to the courthouse and then do a simple dinner with our parents afterwards. It was my parents that convinced us to do a simple ceremony with a few family and friends. Our closest family and friends surrounded us as we exchanged our vows," Krysta said.
