Hillary Clinton's First Instagram Post Since the Election Is Beyond Powerful

As the outcome of the presidential election continues to sink in for Hillary Clinton supporters nationwide, the former Democratic candidate is urging voters to not despair, no matter how difficult that might seem.

In her first Instagram post since Nov. 8, Clinton shared a photo of herself at a rally with a caption that advises her supporters to continue to do good and work toward improving the nation. "Scripture tells us: Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap, if we do not lose heart," she wrote.

Though this is her first post since Trump was announced the winner, Clinton did share a photo as polls were closing. While the photo of her hugging a young supporter was heartfelt, her caption worried many voters with its slightly defeated tone. It read, "This team has so much to be proud of. Whatever happens tonight, thank you for everything."

Many assumed that her caption was acknowledging an impending loss, but the photo also symbolizes the power of her campaign and the lasting effect it will have on women for generations to come.
