Over the last week and a half, President Donald Trump has signed several controversial executive orders, many of which have led to confusion and protests around the country. In the current political climate, retired Daily Show Host Jon Stewart made his triumphant return to TV for a segment about Trump's executive orders with his friend Stephen Colbert on The Late Show.
In the hysterical bit, Jon Stewart shows up with a taxidermy animal strapped to his head and a very long tie. In response to an inquiry about his unique outfit, Stewart responses, "The president sets men's fashion, and I saw the inauguration: super long tie, dead animal on head. Boom."
Stewart goes on to announce the rest of Trump's new executive orders, shouting "I hereby direct that to secure our border, China shall immediately and without hesitation send us their wall. Done. Boom." In regards to who is going to pay for this wall, Stewart jokes, "When the wall arrives at the southern border, we shut the lights, we pretend we're not home. It's COD, Mexico has to sign for it, Boom. They pay for it. Done."
The next executive order Stewart announces is a new national language. "The new official language of the United States is bullsh*t . . . [I] have instructed my staff to speak only in bullsh*t. By the way, none of that, 'at work I 'll speak bullsh*t but at home I'm going to use facts and real information. Bullsh*t all the time, immersion, it's the only way to be fluent."
Finally, the last executive order Stewart reads makes a point many of us can relate to. "I Donald J. Trump, declare my executive order that I, Donald J. Trump am exhausting. It has been 11 days Steven, 11 days. The presidency is supposed to age the president, not the public."
