Neil Gorsuch Criticizes Donald Trump's Attacks on US Judges
Trump's Own Supreme Court Nominee Thinks His Recent Attacks Are "Demoralizing"

As if Donald Trump needed another person speaking out against him, his very own Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, has joined the masses. A recent report by The Washington Post revealed Gorsuch told Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut that he found Trump's recent string of attacks on US judges "disheartening" and "demoralizing."
In response to Seattle Judge James L. Robart, who temporarily blocked Trump's controversial travel ban, Trump fired off a series of tweets, one of them calling Robart, who has served as a judge for over a decade, a "so-called" judge.
The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned!

NBC also reported that Trump referred to an appeals court's hearing of his executive travel order as "disgraceful."
In an interview with The Washington Post, Blumenthal said he advised Gorsuch "to be stronger and more explicit, more public in his views," especially regarding the legitimacy of US judges. Blumenthal also shared that Gorsuch has a "belief in his fellow judges' integrity and the principle of judicial independence." Something tells us Trump won't be happy to hear this coming from his Supreme Court nominee.
