On Wednesday, Oct. 3, the president pulled a U2 and slid into everyone's personal phones by sending out a "presidential alert." The message, sent at 11:18 a.m. PT, was part of a nationwide emergency alert test by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). The text sounded like an Amber Alert and read: "THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed."
