Scott Walker Tweet About Hillary Clinton and President Obama
This GOP Politician's Tweet About Hillary Clinton and President Obama Totally Backfired
Scott Walker might be rethinking his latest tweet. On Tuesday, the Wisconsin governor and former 2016 Republican presidential candidate tweeted a message that said, "If you like the past 8 years, vote Hillary Clinton" in an effort to show how Hillary Clinton would continue President Obama's legacy and that it was a bad thing.
If you like the past 8 years, vote @HillaryClinton. pic.twitter.com/cQEtIgPsEz

While plenty of people might agree with him, Twitter users quickly pointed out how President Obama has reached new approval rating highs (at around 55 percent) and that many are sad to see the popular president leave the White House.
See how Walker's tweet went viral — and not for the reason he intended.
.@ScottWalker @HillaryClinton Um.... Scott, sweetie, I don't think this means what you think it means

@ScottWalker @HillaryClinton You know, I hadn't thought of it that way. But not that you mention it, I'm totally voting for her! Thanks for clarifying! So psyched!

It seems like this could literally be a Clinton campaign tweet given Obama's approval rating. https://t.co/oHi573bllj
