Trump Will Publish List of Crimes by Undocumented Immigrants
This Viral Tweet Shows Why Publishing Crimes by Immigrants Is So Messed Up

On Wednesday, Trump signed an executive order on "interior immigration enforcement" that includes publishing a weekly list of crimes supposedly committed by undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities.

Professional gamer Brian Kibler pointed out exactly why this is so terrifying in a tweet that's gone viral: it's similar to the first steps taken against the Jews during the Holocaust.
Trump wants to publish a list of crimes committed by immigrants. This is literally something Nazis did to Jews https://t.co/DFjQVuMOU3 pic.twitter.com/6riBpI4yPI

The photo included with his tweet shows a Nazi periodical called "The Criminal Jew" and includes photos of different Jewish people who had allegedly committed crimes like swindling, counterfeiting, and pickpocketing.
This is not the first time Trump's policies and rhetoric have been compared to those of Nazi Germany. His idea of a "Muslim registry" mirrors the first steps taken in Nazi Germany before the Holocaust when Jews were required to register with the government and wear yellow stars on their clothing.
Singling people out based on their religion or background is a dangerous step and one history has warned us against.
