Can you even remember a time when Donald Trump had nothing offensive to say? This week, he's been busy bashing Ted Cruz's wife, reinforcing his position as the world's most unabashed misogynist. In a recent New York Times article titled "No, Not Trump, Not Ever," columnist David Brooks mentions Psalm 73, a bible passage that references evil rulers who sound a lot like Trump. So we decided to take a closer look into the Psalm to see how the verses match up with Trump's comments throughout the election.
"From their callous hearts comes iniquity; their evil imaginations have no limits."

"Pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence."

"They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression."

"Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth."

"This is what the wicked are like — always free of care, they go on amassing wealth."

"Therefore their people turn to them and drink up waters in abundance."

If your blood is now boiling, you'll be glad to know the Psalm mentions the demise of such wicked rulers. "How suddenly they are destroyed," it continues. Consider it foreshadowing, since it looks like Trump will never win the general election.
