Scared Pup Rescued in LA Has a New Lease on Life
When volunteers at nonprofit rescue organization Hope For Paws, based in Los Angeles, got a call that a dog had been spotted under an overpass and needed help, they didn't hesitate to head out in search of the pup. After searching up and down a long stretch of a concrete riverbed, they finally spotted a cold, hungry, and terrified German Shepherd. They gained her trust with a few hamburgers and were able to bring her in and clean her up. Perhaps the best part is that Coastal German Shepherd Rescue, where she was taken after being picked up, was able to reunite her with her family who had thought she was lost forever. What a happy ending!
