Gotcha Day For Adopted Pets
Don't Know Your Adopted Pet's Birthday? No Problem!
When you adopt a pet, there's no guarantee that you'll know your new furry friend's official birthdate. But you know what? That's OK, because in lieu of a birthday, you can celebrate gotcha day instead and commemorate the day you brought your animal home with you.
This weekend, PetSmart is encouraging anyone to come out and adopt a pet and celebrate their very own gotcha days. This adoption event will be held in PetSmart stores across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and pet parents are invited to post photos of their newly adopted pets using #gotchaday and tag @PetSmart on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to share their adoption stories.
