Woman's Feeding Chart For Her Cat

These Roommates Created a Hilarious Feeding Chart For Their Cat, and Well, Just Look at It

Our cat had all four roommates feeding him each day because he acted like he was starving and we didn’t know that the other roommate already fed him. This was our solution, hopefully he will slim down a bit. from funny

Living with cats comes with a ton of perks. They sleep with you, like to play, and have their very own personalities. And while I love all five of my fur babies infinitely, there's one major downside to owning a feline: they're constantly trying to con you into multiple meals. Apparently, Emily Koziel — a 20-year-old Michigan State University student — is in the same boat as I am. In fact, her gigantic cat Otto tries to pull one over on her and her roommates so frequently, she made a hilarious "feeding chart" to avoid serving him two breakfasts, and it's straight-up hilarious.

After sharing her funny chart on Reddit, the post quickly went viral. And frankly, I need to copy her idea word for word. Emily included a caption that said:

"Our cat had all four roommates feeding him each day because he acted like he was starving and we didn't know that the other roommate already fed him," she wrote. "This was our solution, hopefully he will slim down a bit."

Although Emily and her roommates have been doing everything they can to stay on top of Otto's diet, as you can see, there's been a slip up or two along the way.

"He usually wakes us up by meowing really loud — we describe it as a scream," Emily told BuzzFeed. "His meow is not pretty. Then he licks our doors, and if that doesn't work he has figured out to open the door. So I fed Otto that morning, and it was about half a can of cat food. I put it in the fridge and then went to class. I came back that evening and found another half of canned cat food in the fridge, only to find out that Shelby ALSO fed him because he yelled at her for food when she woke up. I swear he knows our sleeping schedule."

While we're wishing Otto the best in his weight loss journey, from one cat mom to another: don't count on those 3 a.m. meows going away any time soon!
