As an August 2024 bride, wedding planning has consumed all of my thoughts. Not that I'm complaining — I've found the entire process to be really fun and exciting. However, now that I'm less than 100 days out, big events like my bachelorette party and bridal shower are fast approaching. Because of that, I'm focusing on the wardrobe items I need to fully embrace my bridal era.
The big day is just the finale to the whole process and the mini lead-up events are like the opening acts. Obviously, the wedding dress is the biggest, most important bridal wardrobe purchase on the list and I've had that done for months. I also know what my bridal party is wearing — different styles of dresses from Azazie in a Dusty Blue. But there are a lot of other outfits to think about. With the countdown on, I've been looking at every and any white piece of clothing I come across, which has led me to compile an all-encompassing wishlist of wedding wardrobe must-haves. From sundresses perfect for a garden party shower to getting ready robes and comfortable heels that you can actually dance in for hours, keep scrolling for all of my shopping recommendations.
White Mini Dress

Whether you're having a whole bachelorette weekend or just going out with your friends for one night, you need a white mini dress on hand. My goal going into my bridal era was only to buy things that I can see myself re-wearing in the future, and this Heartloom Inga Dress in Eggshell fits the bill. With heels, it's cute and flirty for drinks, but it can also be dressed down with some sandals and a sweater for the beach.
White One-Piece Swimsuit

Ahead of my bachelorette party in Charleston, South Carolina, I wanted a couple of white swimsuits to have on hand. We rented an Airbnb with a pool and had a boat day planned, so I wanted options. The Slate Swim Lennox One-Piece has a beautiful cutout and clasp-closure back, and it's double-lined, so you don't have to worry about it being see-through. It also won't slip down like some strapless suits, thanks to the grippy lining along the top. One thing to note: the style features a high-cut silhouette so size up if you want a little more coverage.

You need a good getting-ready robe for the morning of the wedding — it'll be in many of your photos before you put on your dress. After the wedding, I plan on wearing this in the mornings while I do my makeup as a special reminder of the big day.

As much as I tried to avoid hitting the add to cart on random finds two days before my bachelorette party, I did decide to get this faux pearl coverup on a whim and it ended up being one of my favorite pieces. The piece has tiny pearls sewn onto it and is surprisingly good quality. I wore it nearly every day of my bachelorette party.
Getting-Ready Slippers

I'll be honest: I try to stay away from things that are too overly "bridal themed" but these embroidered slippers that read "I do" are a really cute addition to your wedding-ready wardrobe.
Comfortable Heels

The quest for the most comfortable wedding heels can feel never-ending, but my searches on TikTok and the internet led me to Bella Belle. It's a bridal shoe brand that promises up to 12 hours of wear with its heels. They come in a variety of styles — from bows to pearls, chunky heels to stilettos, open to close-toe.
White Midi Rehearsal Dinner Dress
Abercrombie Giselle Clasp-Back Pleated Midi Dress ($140)
You need a show-stopping dress for your rehearsal dinner that's good, but not so good that it upstages your wedding gown. As someone who has a minimalistic bridal dress, I wanted my rehearsal dinner outfit to feel breezy and effortless, and the Abercrombie Giselle Clasp-Back Pleated Midi was the perfect option. It hits right at the mid-calf, has a fun gold clasp-back with a cutout, and is super comfortable.
Pearl Headband
Jennifer Behr Brittany Pearly Headband ($325)
The comeback of headbands makes my little '90s heart so happy. In my opinion, if there's ever a time to rock a flashy, pearl-encrusted hair accessory, your wedding is it. All of Jennifer Behr's products are so high quality and beautifully made but I can picture myself wearing the Brittany Pearly Headband for bridal events ranging from my shower to my rehearsal dinner and even an after party.
"Something Blue" Bikini
Blackbough Swim Elena Underwire Top in Azure Dove ($60)
Light blue is the accent color of my wedding, which also helps me check the "something blue" box on my wedding day. I wanted to incorporate the color into all of my festivities leading up to the big day, and this Blackbough Swim Elena Underwire Top in Azure Dove checked all my boxes. It has a white base with a baby-blue design. It's also a great option if you're worried about having too much plain white after wedding season.

It hits mid-calf, and the smocked detailing up top is really flattering. Best of all? You can absolutely re-wear this for various occasions after your wedding is over.
