The key to creating the perfect outfit is finding the right fit, and safety pins ($6) are such a fashion necessity for DeSorbo that she carries a few with her at all times. "I also hem a lot of my own stuff with those stitch guns ($20). I'm obsessed with making things shorter," she says.

However, DeSorbo's most important fashion essential is her mom. "She picks out all my outfits to this day. I send them to her first, and she says yes or no. She's really an important part of the team."
