Harry Potter Fans, Here's Where You Need to Be on Halloween
New York is about to get its very own Diagon Alley, and now we know what we're doing for Halloween! Wizarding Weekend will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 31, as Press Bay Alley in Ithaca, NY, will be transformed into a wizarding world of wonder for Harry Potter fans and muggles alike. Here's what you can expect at the event: costume contests, electric broomstick reenactments, circus demonstrations, hot cider (no word yet on butterbeer), trick-or-treating, food trucks, crafts, and the best part — all the shopkeepers will be wearing "their finest wizarding attire."
Now grab your floo powder . . . and try not to eff it up — you don't want to be caught skulking around Knockturn Alley. Dodgy place.
