There's no denying that school is a constant cycle of unwavering stress, but this high school psychology teacher made sure his students knew the best ways to deal with it from day one. Alina Ramirez, a student from Oxnard, CA, shared a handout from her Intro to Psychology class on Twitter titled "101 Ways to Cope With Stress" and filled with simple, yet unbelievably efficient, tactics to deal with that feeling we all know too well.
"He knows how stressed we are with school, sports, work, and life in general, so he gave us the paper to help us, and just to have in case we are stressed," Ramirez said, explaining that she keeps the list easily accessible in the front of her binder to look at whenever she's feeling stressed at school.
Ramirez's list has been retweeted over 22,000 times, and people all over the world are loving this list, both students and nonstudents alike.
Some of our favorite tactics are:
- Prepare for the morning the night before.
- Don't rely on your memory. . . Write it down.
- Be prepared for rain.
- Schedule play time into every day.
- Do it today.
- Always have a plan "B."
- Memorize a joke.
- Freely praise other people.
