Chill Out and Take Our 7-Day Relaxation Challenge!

Many of us know we need to pause and chill out, but almost feel guilty when we take some time for ourselves. That's why we've created a challenge, so that you can stick to a schedule dedicated to help you de-stress. With one activity assigned to each day for a week, you'll hopefully be able to decompress little by little and ready yourself for the week ahead. Seven days of relaxation — you can do it and should!

Monday: Listen to music.

Listen to a feel-good playlist without any distractions — that means no emails or texts during this session. Pick a comfy spot in your room or at a coffee shop, and tune the rest of the world out for 20 minutes.

Tuesday: Meditate or do yoga.

Tuesday: Meditate or do yoga.

Clear your mind with a DIY practice at home or a class at one of your favorite studios. Even just a 20-minute meditation in your room will help you slow down.

Wednesday: Color.

Wednesday: Color.

Take it back to your younger days, except this time, escape inside an adult coloring book. Holding colored pencils will instantly hit you with nostalgia, and it'll feel so satisfying to fill in those pages.

Thursday: Write in a journal.

Thursday: Write in a journal.

If you're feeling particularly stressed out, pour it all out into a fresh notebook. If you're feeling creative, don't let your pen stop and just write freely. You'll feel a sense of relief even just by scribbling down what comes to mind.

Friday: Watch a funny movie.

Friday: Watch a funny movie.

Laughter is an instant stress-reducer because it releases endorphins in your brain. Invite some friends over for a movie night or cozy up solo.

Saturday: Work out with a friend.

Saturday: Work out with a friend.

Hit the park for a run together or book a fun studio class you both love. You'll feel fantastic after your sweat session, and it's even better with a friend by your side to pump you up.

Sunday: Unplug and chill.

Sunday: Unplug and chill.

What you do on Sundays sets you up for the days ahead. If you do too much, you won't feel prepared to start your week come Monday. Turn off your devices, and allow yourself to indulge in some quality R&R. You'll feel such a difference!
