Let's be real — has anyone seen a bison in real life? OK, besides on their burger? I've been a coastal girl all my life and never saw one until I was driving through South Dakota. Not only do you pass ranches and dairy farms, but there are also a wide range of animals roaming wild around the flyover states. Being able to see an animal in its natural habitat is awe-inspiring.
