GameStop Donates $50,000 to Slain Police Officer

How GameStop Is Honoring a Policeman Who Died at the Store

After 30-year-old Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson III was killed during a violent robbery at a GameStop store in his city, the company wanted to honor his memory. Instead of simply issuing a "thank you for your service" message to Wilson's family and two young sons, GameStop executives donated a large sum of money — an estimated $50,000 — in the fallen officer's honor.

That's not all GameStop is doing to thank Officer Wilson, though. The company is also setting up donation opportunities in many of its East Coast stores. Watch the video to find out how you can help raise money for Wilson's little boys, and see what other efforts have been made to care for the officer's surviving family.
