Ghoulish Products to Help You Have the Most Geek-Chic Halloween Ever

There is no better holiday than Halloween — that day when those of us who love cosplay year-round are considered normal. Here are some of my favorites in ghoulish and not-so-ghoulish tech style, whether you're looking to suit up for this year's party or just trying to add a pop of personality to business casual.
1 DIY Headless Costume
As much as I love store-bought costumes, the DIY ones have a special place in my heart (my mom is a professional costume designer, after all!), and I love this headless costume I found on Instructables.com. All you need are a trench coat, a giant pretzel container, fake arms and hands, makeup, and cardboard, and you can make it in four easy steps.
2 Donna Stevens Fascinator Headbands
Add a little feminine flair to your getup with these Fall-themed Donna Stevens fascinators ($29). They attach by headband and come with mesh veiling, feathers, or bows for an elegant, vintage look.
3 Superhero Romper
So easy and totally adorable! No need to gather different parts and accessories to pull together a superhero costume, just wear a superhero romper ($35). Select Wonder Woman, Batgirl, or Supergirl and zip into this comfy jumpsuit. Cape included.
4 Baymax Inflatable Costume
Big this year? Inflatable costumes! And who doesn’t love Baymax? The inflatable costume ($60) is a bit cumbersome, but it comes with its own fan so assembly is the easy part. Making your way around a party with a blow-up suit and helmet is the hard part. Not feeling it? The inflatable Godzilla costume ($80) is pretty sweet, too.
5 LED Stick Figure Costume
This glowing stick figure costume ($99), which was originally made by a dad for his daughter, is pure brilliance. It consists of a black hoodie and pants with LEDs that snap into place, transforming the costume wearer into a seemingly one-dimensional stick figure. Comes with six brightness levels and six flashing modes.
6 Wandering Digital Eye
Tech and Halloween are super creepy bedfellows, especially when we're talking about the Wandering Eye Digital ($60) lineup of masks, which allow you to insert your smartphone in for spooky eye special effects via a free app. The Cyclops is new this year, and I'm a fan! 7 Blood-Splatter Play Dress
Let's just say Dexter would have a field day with this dress. White and covered in blood splatters, this short and stylish piece ($85) is a total head-turner.
8 Halloween Headbands
These elaborate Halloween headbands ($15) are an annual favorite for me! They're great for busy people who don't have time to think about what to wear. Choose from spiders, bats, witches, and more, and the headband will make your costume. Get one before they sell out!
9 Glow-in-the-Dark Skeleton Dress
I kind of want to wear this dress ($50) year-round. Sure, it's seasonal and the anatomical skeleton diagrams glow in the dark. But the cut and flair of the dress are super stylish, even for when it's not Halloween.
10 Animal Planet Raptor Pet Costume
Speaking of which, if I had a dog I'd completely cosplay him out in a dinosaur suit ($25)! The tiny plush arms, the don't-mess-with-me yellow eyes. Here's to dressing dogs up as Jurassic-era beasts!
