The results are in. The most buzzed-about GIF of the year was (drumroll please) . . . Miguel Herrera, coach of the Mexico national soccer team! Google has released its top search terms of 2014, and, when it came to GIFs, he was the number one trending term. People clearly couldn't get enough of Miguel.

He took his team to the second round of the World Cup, with many, many theatrical reactions from the sideline. Miguel definitely won most entertaining coach of the entire tournament.
