Oh, the power of Photoshop. The Internet blew up this morning after a selfie starring Grumpy Cat and Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage went viral on Twitter. Apparently the person who posted the picture — a guy named Henry Path — has great skills, because it was all a hoax. Of course it was. Didn't we learn anything from last year's stunts?

Here's the original photo taken about a month ago at the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere in New York City by a guy who's 6'6" tall. As you can see, there's no Grumpy Cat in sight.

Sorry, people. It was good while it lasted. (Actually, it still is.)
