President Obama Talking About Smartphones
President Obama Reveals He Can't Text, Play Music, or Take Photos With His Smartphone
If we needed more proof that President Obama is just like our dads when it comes to technology, you need to hear him talk about his BlackBerry days. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the president reminisced about his old phone, saying he was the first president to have a BlackBerry and he was the only person left to have one when everyone else moved on to newer cell gadgets.
"Finally, this year they said, 'Good news, Mr. President, we're going to give you a smartphone,'" he told Jimmy. President Obama added that he was looking forward to getting a smartphone because he always saw his daughters and wife having fun with them.
Despite the president's excitement over getting a new phone, he revealed that once he received it, he could barely do anything on it. He couldn't take photos, text, or play music on it.
Basically, the phone was something out of your childhood, meant only for imaginary calls. Watch President Obama describe the hilarious moment above at the 2:22 mark.
