"I was first introduced to Sailor Moon when I was 9 or 10. My friends' dad always traveled for work, and brought them back all sorts of Sailor Moon goodies . . . What little girl wouldn't love a show about girls much like her who end up with magical powers and a talking cat? It taught me important things like friendship, courage and dedication to what you believe in," Sarah told us.

Sarah and her fiancée had been together for 8 years before they were engaged. "We started dating our senior year of high school, and continued dating through college. We met through mutual friends, and just hit it off. Fun fact: we were born about 2 hours apart from each other!"

Which Sailor does she most identify with? "I definitely relate most to Usagi (Sailor Moon) and Makoto (Sailor Jupiter). It's hard to say who I love more. I can be goofy, clumsy, and a bit childish sometimes, much like Usagi. However, I definitely relate to her dedication to her loved ones, and her perseverance when times get tough."

Sarah explained, "Makoto (Sailor Jupiter) and I actually have the same birthday, which was the most amazing thing in the world to little me (and actually continues to be pretty flipping awesome). I'm a bit of a mix of tough and girly. I liked how Makoto could be strong and brave, while still being feminine. I want to be the kind of girl who can kick butt, then bake a cake."
