The account owner, Joel Strong, who first got noticed for incorporating cutouts of Leonardo DiCaprio to his photos, has used the same idea for his stop-motion videos on Instagram. A photo of his original concept is below.
For each of his new creations, he begins with small cutouts of clothes or celebrity heads. Joel then plays around with it against a real-life moving backdrop. This can result in paper doll-like outfit changes, Kanye kissing Kanye, or the Weeknd doing yoga with changing facial expressions.
